What is a June Lake Trail Steward?

The June Lake Trail Stewardship Program was designed to keep up with regular trail maintenance throughout the summer hiking season and to do educational outreach on Leave No Trace, bear interactions, and good hiking etiquette. Once a month, our dedicated group of trail stewards volunteer their time to hike a popular June Lake trail, do trail maintenance, and connect with hikers.
